A judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss a lawsuit against Prince Andrew by a woman who says he sexually abused her when she was 17.

The case is tied to allegations of sexual abuse by the late Jeffrey Epstein and his wealthy friends of women and underage girls.

West Palm Beach attorney Spencer Kuvin, who represented several victims, says this isn't just a positive for Virginia Giuffre.

"This is great news for not just one victim but all victims."

He says that allowing the case to proceed will allow other women who were underage to take depositions and will likely force Prince Andrew to give a deposition.

"During depositions, additional witnesses...names of very famous people or influential people...may come out as part of this process."

Kuvin says the ruling will likely lead to a lot more truth coming out. And that's what he's hoping for.

"What has been alleged in that federal complaint he should be held accountable, regardless of who he is or the power that he has or his family has."

Meanwhile Breaking News on Thursday has Buckingham Palace confirming that the Queen has agreed to accept Prince Andrew's military affiliations and royal patronages at her behest.

A statement notes that "The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."

Prince Andrew has denied any wrongdoing and claims he never met Giuffre.
