Hundreds of activists rallying at the State Capitol tonight speaking out against House Bill 7. Activists say the bill titled "Individual Freedom" will stop educators from teaching about sensitive subjects like race, discrimination and the Holocaust. Tosh Packerell with Florida's Student Power Network says the bill is downright dangerous as it will "whitewash" history. The bill is the House version of what Governor Ron DeSantis calls "anti-woke" legislation targeting the teaching of critical race theory. He says it will not ban difficult topics of discussion but rather teach them objectively.
