There were no big protests outside a federal courthouse in West Palm Beach yesterday, as a judge was ruling on requests by media outlets to release documents related to a raid at Mar-a-Lago.
But there were some supporters of the former President who showed up.
Jim Reddy from Boynton Beach:
"This is something that happens in a banana republic."
Donna D'Amato from Boynton Beach:
"I'm very concerned about what's going on in our country today. It's sickening and it's actually kind of scary to be living in this country right now with the way things are going."
She said the raid, which Trump and many of his supporters believe was solely politically-motivated, sets a dangerous precedent.
"If this could happen to a President of the United States, what's going to happen to me? Where are my rights?"
Amon and Mimi Shalev of Boca Raton drove around in a red, white and blue Jeep with a "Don't Tread on Me" flag waving from it.
"I think it's totally wrong. It's never been done to a president."
"They're afraid he will come back so they will do anything to stop him from running."
In addition to their Jeep, there was a pickup truck driving around the courthouse, with Trump banners and American flags.
Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who signed the search warrant which sparked the raid at the former president's Palm Beach home, ordered the Department of Justice to come back with a redacted probable cause affidavit no later than next Thursday.
