(Parkland, Fla.) -- All of Congress has been invited to tour the 1200 building at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School so they can witness the aftermath of a school shooting and the horrific impact it has had on Parkland.
Max Schachter became a national school safety advocate after his son Alex was murdered in the Parkland school shooting on Valentineās Day 2018.
Members of the Congressional Bipartisan School Safety and Security Caucus will tour the site of the Parkland school massacre before the building is torn down on August 4th.
Schachter hopes that the experience will lead to increased school safety and legislative change.
