Former aide to Miami Mayor and presidential hopeful Francis Suarez, Rene Pedrosa, has been sentenced to six years in prison and has to report to federal prison on Wednesday.
This is following a guilty plea to child pornography.
Investigators say in 2019 Pedrosa convinced a 16-year-old to go to City Hall where he kissed and inappropriately touched him. Pedrosa had faced between five to twenty years in federal prison.
