Fatal Crash On I-95 Causes 10-Mile Backup

A deadly crash had I-95 shut down for over six hours in Palm Beach County.

It caused headaches for drivers throughout the Friday morning rush hour.

The accident involved several vehicles on the northbound side of the highway, approaching Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach. It happened around 3:30 a.m. but by daylight, traffic was backed up ten miles to Lake Worth.

The lanes reopened after 9 a.m.
