Palm Beach County Cities Host MLK Day Events

It's Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Day and multiple Palm Beach County municipalities are hosting events to honor the slain civil rights leader.

Several events going on in Lake Worth Beach, including a Civil Rights Sing-a-long at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Candlelight March beginning at City Hall at 5. The march continues through downtown. The evening will wrap up with an MLK fellowship dinner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on North M Street at 6 p.m.

The City of Boca Raton will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of free community events and celebrations, including live performances, rides, games and more at Mizner Park Amphitheater beginning at 11:30 a.m.

And the city of Boynton Beach will host a free celebration at Sara Sims Park including live performances, food trucks and children's activities beginning at 1 p.m.
