Miami, FL - A recent analysis of Google review data has placed five Florida malls among the most discussed shopping centers in the country.
The report, conducted by Digital Directory Express, examined Google reviews from malls across the United States to determine which ones received the highest volume of feedback.
The findings highlight Florida as a key player in retail tourism, with multiple high-traffic shopping centers generating tens of thousands of reviews.
Bayside Marketplace in Miami earned the second-highest number of Google reviews nationally, with 72,088 entries, placing it just behind Navy Pier in Chicago, which took the top spot with 80,528 reviews.
Bayside's waterfront location and mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options make it a favorite for both locals and tourists.
Four additional Florida malls made the list:
- Sawgrass Mills (Sunrise): 63,950 reviews
- Dolphin Mall (Sweetwater): 60,421 reviews
- The Florida Mall (Orlando): 44,441 reviews
- Aventura Mall (Aventura): 41,273 reviews
Aside from The Florida Mall in Orlando, all are located in South Florida, reinforcing the region’s status as a retail hub.
A representative from Digital Directory Express noted that the high volume of reviews reflects both foot traffic and customer sentiment.
The report also revealed that 83% of shoppers rely on Google reviews before visiting a store, while 74% cross-reference multiple platforms before deciding where to shop.
Florida’s prominence in the rankings underscores its ongoing importance in the national retail landscape.
