Time is running out for you to register to vote in the upcoming Florida midterm election.
Eligible voters have less than two weeks, July 20th, to register to vote in the primary August 18th.
You can request a mail-in ballot by August 6th and early primary voting runs from August 3rd to August 16th.
Florida voters will decide several key races, including who will become the next governor as Gov. Ron DeSantis is term-limited and cannot run again.
Florida's midterm ballot will also feature:
- One U.S. Senate seat
- 28 Congressional seats
- Florida governor and lieutenant governor
- Florida attorney general
- Chief financial officer
- Commissioner of Agriculture
- Members of the Florida Legislature (Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives)
- County offices (commissioners, school board members, constitutional officers)
- Judgeships
- Florida constitutional amendments including property taxes
The general election is November 3rd.
